FAQs of Laser Services
Steel, stainless steel, titanium, nickel alloys such as Inconel and Monel, and hardened tool steel. We also mark anodized aluminum, plated finishes and painted surfaces. Send us the material and we will tell you how it marks.
Annealed marking leaves the surface and its corrosion resistance intact. Etching removes a shallow layer for high contrast. Deep engraving cuts into the material where the mark has to survive machining, heat treat, blasting or long service.
Yes. Serial numbers, part numbers, date codes, data matrix and QR codes, logos and instruction plates. Parts are held in fixtures so a production run marks in the same position every time.
Yes. A handheld laser system removes rust, mill scale, oxide, paint and coatings without touching the base metal. There is no media, no chemicals and no waste stream. It suits weld preparation, restoring corroded steel and cleaning weld discoloration from stainless.
